GESEESIL. A - 200 is a very fine amorphous silicon dioxide made by combustion of high purity silicon tetrachloride with oxygen and hydrogen. lts unique properties offer advantages in many applications: silicone rubber,sealants, organic elastomers, UPR, adhesives, paint, ink and free flow.t is used as reinforcing, thickening,anti-settling, thixotropic and free flow agent.

Fumed silica is white flocculent powder under normal condition, it is a kind of non-toxic, tasteless, odourless, non-polluting non-metallic oxides, it has unique ‘three-dimensional dendritic’ structure, and the surface contains highly active Si-OH group, which makes it has excellent stability and thixotropy. It has a large specific surface area, strong surface adsorption, and is easy to agglomerate. Fumed silica can form a uniform three-dimensional network structure in the liquid system, this structure will be temporarily destroyed under the action of external forces, but will recover itself after the disappearance of external forces, showing thixotropy.
